861 Power Amplifier

The low noise floor on this power amp is genuinely shocking — I'm hearing reverb tails on familiar recordings I never knew were there. It drives my floorstanders with this effortless grip that makes the old receiver feel like it was fighting the speakers the whole time.

Swapped my old amp out for this one and the difference in how instruments sit in the mix is immediate. It's got the same guts as the bigger model in the line, so it drives my speakers without ever sounding strained. Two months in and I'm still hearing details I missed before.

The bass control on this thing is unreal — my standmounts suddenly have weight I didn't know they were capable of. I've owned a couple of amps in this price range and this is the first one that stays composed when I push the volume.
