Been running this as a preamp straight into my power amp and the background is dead silent, which I wasn't expecting at this price. The build is heavier than it looks in photos, and the volume control feels solid. It's replaced two boxes on my rack and I don't miss either of them.

The preamp section alone cleaned up my chain — I'm running the streamer straight into powered monitors now and the background is dead silent. Build quality feels like a much pricier unit, the chassis barely warms up after a full day on.

Swapped my old streamer for this and the built-in preamp let me drop a separate box from the rack entirely. Streaming from my NAS over the network has been rock solid, no dropouts in three weeks. The chassis is heavier than I expected for a foundation model.
